Exit Interview: John A. Gans, American Pharmacists Association

John Gans has dedicated his 40-year career to improving patients’ use of prescription drugs. A trained pharmacist, Gans has addressed prescription use in the pharmaceutical industry, in academia as a dean at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and for two decades as head of the American Pharmacists Association. Prescription medication is one of the few aspects of health care that patients control, determining use and frequency.
